I suppose it's time for my weekly article. I don't know why it's only on Tues but I guess it's b/c my homework is due thur...and tue you want to goof off and will take any excuse, but wed you have to actually do it, b/c you know you won't wake up early to do it thurs....ahh procrastination, how you complete me! Today i procrastenated so much that i did homework that's not due for an entire week to avoid doing thur's homework (and i have lots of it)

ok a real entry: so my car wouldn't start yesterday...yea! i had to have it towed 7 miles...how dumb is that, only 7 miles! anywho $220 it's supposedly fixed and life goes on. Sadly however, I dented my garage door opener trying to get it out of the garage so my roommate could give it a jump (to try to make it work b4 i gave up and towed it)....now the garage door is broken. i think i could handle this but some moron girl ran into my bike last week and dented it so i can't even ride it....being stranded and helpless is not a good feeling. mom told me today 'when it rains, it pours'. i was hoping she would give me a 'when god closes a door he opens a window' speech or something hopeful....but sadly no. i'm not really depressed or anything like this sounds...i got 2 big homeworks done and i'm headed back to prescott to see everyone and i'm really really really excited about that. plus i'm going home for the weekend and get to see a few san antonio friends - i assure you life is good, but if you want to give me your best picker-upper quote, i'd love it!

Bottom Line: my car won't start; it's falling apart; i was late for work and my boss got smart. (jk - that's a shania twain song)...car broke...got it fixed...now it works....would appreciate a happy cliche....life is good :) ps this pic totally made me laugh...(it's at the grand canyon)

Ok...I did the horrible....or if I believe my rooommate....I cut  my hair. I've been wanting to do it forever - i haven't had it short since 5th grade....but i have just been talking about it for months....and today i walked by a hair cutting place, there was no one inside, and i was like why not? this is obviously right....so i walk in, and ask for it to be shorter (un-pony-tailable) but it needs something b/c just hanging would be boring...anywho she took a full hour ( i DON"T have thick hair...the longest cut i've ever had was 10 min)...so it was about chin level, then added layers...so it's wayyyy uhhh styled...but i totallyh like it...it wasn't a bob like in the 60's...well it is, but there's style to it, but it's totally not my previous self....so anyway my roommate ricardo was like 'you cut your hair..(and i wan't to say 'well duh, genious' cuz it's like 6" shorter)....why??' UHH CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT! Every boy should have the common sense to say whether or not they think so that it looks nice, but certainly  not...'why'...uhh! so when you see me, tell me you love it...even if you don't...cuz i like it and there's no point in making me feel bad about it!

Bottom line: roommate dumb.....I got a cute, very not my normal style haircut!

Ok....so this is a big one...(something actually happened):

So I went home to San Antonio this past weekend for a dr appt and had to be back at A&M by 3pm on Mon for a meeting. I was supposed to leave around 9am to give myself unpacking (of the pets) and lunch etc time....well obviously I didn't leave on time but that's not the wierd part:

I stopped to get gas at HEB as anyone would....stand there while i'm pumping, and this retarded girl in a white expedition is going wayy to fast, ends up hitting my bike (attached to a bike rack on the back of the car) while I'm not moving....still standing there pumping gas! then she swerves, hits the stop sign, comes within an inch of a brand new car (the owner obviously scared of having her car hit so she parks in the last row), the girl just waits a few seconds while i'm busting up laughing at her stupidity, then she drives off!

How dumb! Getting a class c misdemeanor (cuz it's not technically a hit and run since no one was hurt)...anyway i have to wait for the police to come to file an accident report b/c it was on private property....and claim the $100 it'll cost to fix my bent back tire (the bike is only worth 60 brand new). But we got her liscence and the police are tracking her down and basically all I can do is call her and be like....give me a new tire....or i'll go through the insurance agency (yea right, as if I would for a bike tire!)...so the cop told me to do that...isn't that kinda like extortion or blackmail type stuff or seomthing!?? anywho i didn't actually leave san antonio as a result until almost noon, drop the pets off, hurry to campus, and turns out the meeting was moved to 2pm sometime last week and i totally missed it!

Bottom Line: supposed to leave at 9am....a series of dumb events costing me about $50 made me leave late, missed meeting. Oh yea - and i got in an accident.

So ya know how you have those goals when you're in high school, when you really have nothing but time to fulfill them? Well I'm ridiculously busy, back in San Antonio and being run around everywhere so I don't have time to do any of my work...and then I'm badgered into cleaming my mom's house - not even mine....guhhh....

Ok - back to the point...this weekend I finally fulfilled a goal I've had since I could drive...though the details weren't the same....I wanted to drive ALL the way around 1604 (Outer Loop in San Antonio) in my Dad's convertible with my friends blasting music....So Tiffany and Lindsey and I did it last night...it was nice cuz there was no one on the road, but it was in Lindsey's car, that while very clean, isn't my dad's convertible. Hmmm.....that's ok cuz it was way fun and it's like 100 miles from my door to my door (the long way...) and it took about 1 hr 45 min....yeah! Plus we listened to way fun dorky music. The only downer was that when we got home, we'd been in the car for almost 2 hours, and were back where we started. Why couldn't one of my high school goals have been to go to Aruba or Alaska or Hawaii or something? Hmm....It's ok cuz I still feel like I did something though. The next thing I've always wanted to do but always put off: skydiving....I can't wait!

Oh, here's something new: (for those of you too busy to read the whole dribble, here's the point of the article, minus all the sidenotes)

Bottom Line: I fulfilled a high school goal of driving around 1604, and 100 miles later ended up where I started...but I feel very accomplished to cross off another line on my to-do list. Next: skydiving!

Soooo....ya I got nothing to say....nothing....thought you'd like to know! Oh wait...I went out last night and had a great margarita then went to toy r us and bought some removable tatoos...they're really cool. I bought them for my cousin (she's 12) but I kinda want to keep them....you put them on...and then can color them with special markers..and they're the fairly odd parents...how cool is that!

oh...so i've watched over 30 movies and got too lazy to put them on...so you don't get to know my view....i know, sucks to be you!

Hey! Oh my gosh! How are you? I totally missed talking to you.....I decided to write in the middle of a J.Ho movie (nasty JLo for those of you who may be a fan).  Actually it's Jersey Girl which looked totally cute, but there's like 1/2 Jho....i'm not a fan. Anywho, I went to chili's today....yum. I always battle between a hamburger which I really want, and a pita  with grilled chicken that I love, mostly b/c no where else makes pitas.....the pita always wins.....sad cuz i always leaving wanting the hamburger...ahhh and life goes on...and the character j hoe plays just died....time to watch the movie again!

I spent the weekend at Houston Astroworld with a sorority sister and her beau - it was way fun, but the best part is: I didn't get burned! I only put sunscreen on at 9am and it was 15...so it was gone by at least 10am...but for the first time ever, I didn't burn afterwards! (It's cuz i'm so tan....well it's cuz i go biking a bunch i think and my skin is getting well worn to the sun....yea!)

I've been having totally annoying car trouble though - ironically 2 days after I took it in to get its inpection sticker and for some recalls. Coincidence, i think not! Like: my engine doesn't like to start so much now...I have to leave the car running when I dash (b/c i didn't want to say run again) into blockbuster b/c it wouldn't start otherwise....and today I think my breaks went out....for just a second though. Like, I was able to push them all the way to the floor (while trying to stop) so i had to swerve cuz i almost hit a car as a result....it was bad! I love my car...but is it time for a new one!?

I'm getting all kinds of lazy with this...so here's a good one: (ready, go!)

Ben came last weekend and my friends (like everyone I know) was great about hanging out with us. kim and manda and mich and jess hung out the night he got in and we saw UT the next day and went to Conans - the coolest pizza place ever (it's a total tradition).

Ummm then we saw A&m the next day and Steph and her beau from houston came up and visited...saw playgrounds, a few movies, and i gave him the texas tour: Chickfila, Taco Cabana, Big Red, etc

Anywho, we knew we were going to rent lots of videos and there was a $10 off special, so I got that month long movie rental special from blockbuster. I have lots of reviews to share, (but don't make fun of me for my choices...the rentals were basically free!)

50 first dates: way cute and it was the second time i saw it!

Starsky and Hutch: funny....i dont like that 'huggy bear' guy though

Girl Next door: not as american pie as I thought it'd be, not horrible

the Big Bounce: lots of twists and turns - totally unexpected! great, but a little slow.

School of Rock: really cute - my first enjoyable Jack Black movie

Laws of Attraction: boring...slow...even for a chick flick!

New York minute: they're adult looking but no better caliber movie than their detective series

Ella Enchanted: Cinderella type story with a modern but ancient kinda thing, it was neat, but definatley glad I didn't pay for it.

Stuck on You: ya....no comment

Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen: cute, Lindsey Lohan seems stuck up though

I'll keep them coming! (mostly cuz i want to see how many i can rent in a month)
