Ok I am sooo sick of studying. But you've heard that. There is 57 hours, 22 minutes, and 23 seconds until my first test....not that I'm counting.  (as of 11:38 pm Fri night).

We all (phd students) took a break from studying today, had lunch at bw3's and they ahve these amazing new grilled chicken skewers with crazy hot bbq sauce. Awesome! Then we saw the da vinci code. not as good as the book (a lot of clues left out and the whole romance...come on. it's tom hanks! he's the romance guru....) but don't worry - i don't believe any of the bunk it talked about. It's a great piece of fiction, but there was a great quote at the end ... it went something like 'does it really matter if the legend is true or not...if it renews your faith?' - for all the crap this movie has received (very controversial i guess in parts), it had a good end message. believe whatever you want...just believe it.

On that note, today's quote is: 'You can see only as far as your headlights, but you can make the whole trip that way.' - E.L. Doctorow. Do you think that applies to Fluids....because I really don't see the end of the road of the dang subject....I'm not even sure if i'm still on the road! (and don't worry...this is the first test!). On the plus side to the countdown, all of the tests will be over in 108 hours, 22 minutes, and 23 seconds...and I'll be in indiana only 10 hours after that. Yea!

 

End note: had fun this morning but have been studying since 3 ... with another hour to go. Whoop! (that was a sarcastic whoop for those who don't know the subtlty of my witt....or lack thereof).
