i rarely update this...oops!

about me:  well i now official have my master's in engineering, whoop! (yea I 'whooped'...so what??). i'm working towards my phd but i may not finish and if i do it'll be a while away....yup. linds was living with me but she moved back to corpus....i still have a crazy dog named sampson and a fish that won't die named...umm pearlman i think. my job entails building a satellite and it's super fun...no really! i don't think i'm sarcastic...but i am shy....oh and i really like people to come visit cuz i think that's super! ha...yea i'm in a random mood avoiding doing work. how can you tell??

music: i love bowling for soup and kelly clarkson. ok i'm done. (i didn't want to admit it but i've been listening to 'ella enchanted' a lot with anne hatheway....it's really happy optimistic....don't judge me!)

oh books: i just finished a bunch: grissom's latest on paperback (can't remember the name), sisterhood of the travelling pants(i cried like 5 times more then i did in the movie), nick sparks' the guardian....all awesome books. i'm now working on the second summer of the travelling pants and 'high velocity' a book about leadership and the mars lander my dad wants me to read...

books i want to read: memoirs of a geisha, the chamber, walk in the clouds, message in a bottle, pelican breif, the client (all those are movies that i liked or hated, but i think the book will be better).

movies: want to see the producers, in her shoes, and a few others. after the marathon movie week on linds last week with me, i can't afford it too much. oh and rent sucked...i love musicals, but who doesn't pay rent?? that's dumb. unless you're a native american and lived here for hundreds of year, you should pay for where you stay, especially since you didn't build it. maybe i'm too middle class to understand feeling entitled to something you don't deserve.

vacations (from Jan 1st to Feb 1st): cancun (with the family...i.e. free!), vegas (saw jobea and went with 8 grad students...didn't sleep...had lots of fun), corpus (with my crackhead dog and friend to visit linds and chels), nasa/houston (saw steph), dinner in houston (with my uncle), and dr appts in san antonio (saw harpreet! and family)...hmm i guess it's been a busy month. Amber and Justin...i'm coming to dallas next. be prepared! :)

and now i have a huge deadline with the air force and i'm avoiding doing work...oh i'm a procrastinator. :)

We went for burgers for dinner but i wasn't really too hungry so i ate a small part and went to eat it a minute ago...and my stupid crackhead dog ate it. like a quarter lb'er with cheese and jalepenos! What kind of crack is he on that a 10 lb dog can stomach it without puking! That's like me eating a 3-4 lb burger without puking. that's a 48 to 64 oz steak! grrr i'm hungry.

but i'm going to visit linds this weekend and jsc tomorrow all day!!! (Johnson space center.....NASA.....understand??)

So I went to vegas this weekend. It was crazy! (just as vegas should be).  I was only there 48 hours, and sleep really wasn't too much a part of it. But i did play the slots and spent $1 and went to some crazy awesome clubs! oh oh and margaritaville - super fun and great fish! But now i'm exhausted cuz we got back to houston at 4am and to my house around 545 and i had to be up 715 for my 8am class...yes that's only 1 additional hour. sux! ok bye.

Anytawhooo, Christmas was held at my house, super fun! Then I went to san antone for a bit, and it was fun, spent new years with linds at my house, and then went, (are you ready for it) to, (drum roll please) Cancun! It was sooo much fun and totally a last minute trip. Way awesome! We went to see the Mayan city of Chi Chan Itza and actually learned a lot, went in wave runners around the water to a great snorkelling spot, we didn't actually get to go scuba diving - not enough time, but we did go on this 'Caribean Carnival' or soemthing like that - and it was awesome! mm hmm

but now i have to go back to work, but i'll be coming to san antonio in 2 weeks if anyone wants to hang out tue or wed night. :) yea!!
